Singapore, 3 March 2020 – Since our last update, the Coronavirus has been given a name, media reports have also confirmed that Indonesia now has two confirmed COVID-19 cases. We are monitoring the situation very closely. Relevant authorities in many countries have introduced measures to restrain the spread of the infection, including Indonesia.
Our manufacturing facilities are not affected by the current outbreak thus far. We employ strict hygiene
practices in our operations worldwide. We also have efficient well-staffed medical facilities available at all
of our plantations and production locations.
As our raw materials (Fresh Fruit Bunches, Crude Palm Oil , Palm Kernels, and Coconut Oil) are almost
exclusively produced in Indonesia, we foresee no disruption in our supply base or within our manufacturing
operations.
Additionally, stringent precautionary measures have been taken to safeguard the health and safety of all
our staff worldwide.
Precautions include:
- Travel restrictions to and from China
- Declaration of travel history
- All employees who are in contact with someone who is suspected of having the Novel Coronavirus
have to take a leave of absence to self-quarantine for 14 days - Implementation of additional workplace safety and hygiene
These measures have been communicated early throughout our organization and will be updated as more
information on the virus becomes available. Our proactive response will ensure the continuation of high-
