2025 Highlights and Progress
This section outlines our accomplishments and progress towards our sustainable development goals over the past year.
The ninth Musim Mas Group (‘Musim Mas’ or the ‘Group’) report updates the Group’s sustainability performance for the 2025 calendar year. It has been prepared in accordance with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards, including the GRI 13 Sector Standard for Agriculture, Aquaculture, and Fishing, as well as the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) guidelines. This document also includes reporting against the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) recommendations following a 2024 assessment. Ernst & Young LLP (EY) provided limited independent assurance on selected disclosures in this report.
I am pleased to present Musim Mas’ 2025 Sustainability Report. We have navigated a year of significant change, weathering and adapting to supply chain and market disruptions resulting from shifting geopolitical, commercial, climate-related and environmental conditions. Sustainability remains one of our most important priorities and is fundamental to the long-term future of the Group. In 2025, we reviewed and updated our Sustainability Policy, shifting our primary focus from defining inputs and outputs to identifying and measuring impacts. The updated policy addresses three core areas of impact: Sustainable Production, Responsible Sourcing and Thriving Smallholders and Landscapes. The resilience and adaptability our business has shown gives me great confidence that we can continue to achieve further commercial success while addressing the needs of all stakeholders.

We report on our progress against our Sustainability Policy Impact Areas.
The impact areas are namely Sustainable Production, Responsible Sourcing, and Thriving Smallholders & Landscapes.
Together, the impact areas and their commitments are structured around three key subjects:

Musim Mas is actively contributing to the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). We recognize the role businesses play in ensuring the success of the UN agenda and the importance of using a common language to communicate our sustainability progress.
We mapped our material topics and program objectives to the SDGs and their targets, outlining the primary and secondary SDGs to which we contribute. We revisited this exercise for this report as part of our annual materiality update and mapped our downstream risks and opportunities as well.

Sustainability at Musim Mas means providing high-quality and innovative palm oil products and derivatives responsibly. We aspire to be a responsible leader in the evolution of the palm oil industry. To that end, we work hard with our stakeholders to address their concerns, such as greenhouse gas emissions, loss of biodiversity, as well as labour and human rights.
