Since 2019, we have evaluated the progress of each of our supplying mills against our No Deforestation and No Peat commitments via the industry-led NDPE Implementation Reporting Framework (IRF). This reporting tool systematically assesses how far supplying mills have progressed on their NDPE commitments and classifies them into one of six categories – Unknown, Known, Awareness, Commitments and starting action, Progressing, and Delivering.
Control Union (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. independently verified our NDPE IRF reporting for the period of January to December 2022. This means data from 602 mills supplying our 20 Musim Mas refineries and kernel crushing plants in Indonesia, Malaysia, and India have been verified externally.
