Riau's Importance to Musim Mas

The province of Riau is one of our top supplying provinces. As such, it constitutes a priority province for the implementation of our sustainability commitments.

Landscape Projects

Tesso Nilo Task Force
We are part of the Tesso Nilo Taskforce headed by international NGO , WWF.

The task force is a multi-stakeholder programme involving government officials, the private sector and NGOs, aiming to identify a solution to deforestation in the Tesso Nilo National Park.

Collaboration on HCV-HCS model for Smallholders
We are collaborating with an industry peer, on a bottom-up, participatory landscape project to understand and map HCV-HCS areas, as well as existing and potential plots for smallholder expansion. To read more about this project, click here

Independent Smallholder Project with the International Finance Corporation (IFC)
We are working directly with independent Smallholders through the Indonesian Palm Oil Development for Smallholders programme, to make a direct impact to addressing known gaps in Smallholders ' knowledge, agronomic practices and access to finance and vital planting materials.

The Programme has been replicated across three locations in Riau.
