Musim Mas is pleased to announce our participation in the 7th edition of the SOIC, organised by Enterprise Singapore. Through this initiative, we are seeking technology-driven solutions to enable integrated systems for biodiversity monitoring — covering birds, mammals, reptiles, and butterflies.

As of December 2024, Musim Mas manages 29,189 hectares of conservation area, spread across Kalimantan and Sumatra. Biodiversity helps to safeguard ecosystem integrity, supporting natural processes such as pollination and pest-regulation. We are committed to protecting, managing and monitoring conservation areas in our estates, and where appropriate, the surrounding landscapes.

As a member of Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO), Musim Mas also adheres to RSPO requirements to protect and enhance High Conservation Value (HCV) Areas and High Carbon Stock (HCS) Forests.

By participating in SOIC, we aim to tap into the innovation ecosystem and invite solutions that can develop and integrate into our sustainability framework, supporting our NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, No Exploitation) commitments and beyond.

We are interested in solutions that bring together technologies, data and systems to monitor biodiversity in a manner that is integrated, efficient, and actionable.

If you are an innovator, start-up or research team with a game-changing idea in these areas, we invite you to join us. Click here to learn more about the challenge, its scope and timelines, and how to submit your proposal.
